Many countries like Australia, Japan, South Korea have approved medications that will help infected to recover from the decease. Vaccine, when it appears on the market, will be of a great demand by most of the countries and would boost sales of medications worldwide. Pharmaceutical stocks have performed well since the beginning of last year posting gains of 14.7% compared to the S&P 500's total return of 14.3%, according to the SPDR S&P Pharmaceuticals ETF (XPH) research.
